Single Motherhood
Single mom or solo mother. The label doesn't matter. What matters is how you see yourself. The most important question isn't how you became a single mom - it's can you see yourself as God sees you?
Connecting With Christ
The unique nature of raising children solo can make or break us. Fortunately, solo mothers have developed unmatched strength and resilience. However, life with Christ is way better than parenting alone., when His joy becomes our strength.
My Personal Journey
The reason this devotional is so different is because it's infused with my story of childhood abandonment and my struggles after my husband abandoned me with our two- and four-year-old children. I talk about my messy divorces and the fear of raising children by myself while still nursing unhealed trauma.
