Join Our Courageous Journey Together

Dear Reader,

How are you?

I’m reaching out with something a little special today.

As you may know, I’ve been working on a new project very close to my heart:
Courage To Believe: 21 Day Devotional for Single Moms.

This devotional was born out of my own journey as a solo mom and from listening to the stories, tears, and victories of many single moms over the years. It walks through real emotions like fear, anxiety, loneliness, guilt, shame, and grief and gently points our hearts back to what God says about us and our situation.

Before I officially release it, I’d love to invite a small group of volunteer beta readers to help me refine it.

What I’m asking from you

If you join as a beta reader, you’ll:

  • Receive a free digital pre-release copy of the 21-day devotional
  • Read through it over the next 2–3 weeks
  • Share your honest feedback on things like:
    • What really spoke to your heart
    • Anything that felt confusing or unclear
    • Any typos or small errors you notice
    • How it helped you in your walk with God

To make it simple for you, I’ve created a Google form so most of your response can be just checking a box.

Who this is for

  • Single / solo moms who want encouragement and a deeper connection with God
  • Women who have walked a hard road and know what it feels like to need hope
  • Or anyone who works closely with single moms and wants to better understand their journey

If that sounds like you, I’d truly be honored to have your help.

How to raise your hand

If you’d like to be a beta reader, just reply to this email with:

“I’m in!”

I’ll send you more details and the devotional link as soon as the beta group is confirmed.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. Your support, prayers, and presence in this community mean more than you know. I believe God will use this devotional to minister deeply to single moms and I’d love for you to be part of shaping it.

Dear Reader, How are you? What would you do if you weren’t afraid? This is the title of a book by Michal Oshman. I want to share a quote from her book: ”Accepting the fact that you can’t fully control your life - relationships, career, health, ageing - is one of the greatest ways to manage fear”. Life is full of opportunities to be afraid, and as the New Year approaches, ask yourself: Are you fearful of what it brings? Or are you anticipating, hoping with all hope that you can quickly and...

Dear Reader, How are you? I have a strange habit: I love watching my children sleep. They look so peaceful, don’t they? Watching my boys, I’ve often wondered what they’re dreaming about. But have you ever stopped to consider why they can just drift off without a care in the world even after making a fuss about wanting to stay up? It’s because they are comfortable with you. They rest in the quiet certainty that you are there, and you will be there when they wake up. You too can have that same...

Dear Reader, How are you? Sunday mornings can be complicated. For some, it’s a rush to get the kids ready. Alone. For others, it’s sitting in a church service, looking around at families sitting together, and feeling a deep, quiet ache. You can be surrounded by people and still feel completely invisible. I want you to know that I understand that feeling. I’ve sat in those pews. I’ve felt like I was shouting into a void where no one could hear me. But there is a woman in the Bible who knew...
